The role holder is responsible for managing the deployment and provisioning function to fulfill the requirements of infrastructure across various domains within the bank. The role holder must be extremely customer-focused, well organized, technically advanced and possess significant experience related to data center infrastructure and provisioning in enterprise environments. The role holder will be further responsible for driving business process, improvement initiatives, with a prime focus on automation of process to eliminate manual tasks and working closely with key stakeholders internally and external vendors (as applicable).

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • To manage the standard chartered infrastructure provisioning, deployment, coordinate and delivery of business requirements
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of team and providing the guidance to improve the infrastructure delivery model
  • To coordinate project requirements, evaluate business needs and improvise on the delivery timelines by implementing various methodologies / workflow models
  • Infrastructure provisioning comprising new hardware commissioning, hardware upgrades and decommissioning of hardware within the technology domain
  • Govern, coordinate and responsible for all phases of provisioning and coordination and support business needs
  • Continuous development of common KPI's, performance metrics and standard operating principles for infrastructure delivery
  • Accountable for driving and adhering to SLA for delivery to fulfil and manage the business expectation
  • Optimize performance of current operational procedures with an eye for automation in deployment and coordination space
  • Work with the internal and external support teams to ensure that the delivery commitments are realistic and delivered as committed
  • Proactively collect and analyze service/support data and customer feedback to determine environment / platform changes or training needs.
  • Establish and build relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership

Qualification:

  • Bachelors’ degree, EE or equivalent
  • Infrastructure delivery management and coordination experience
  • Project Management certifications or equivalent

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Data center infrastructure delivery – expertise in delivery best practice. This includes; planning for installation, process improvements, process coordination, automation, team management
  • Knowledge and experience in managing teams who are responsible for delivery of enterprise server, storage, and network hardware
  • Strong management skills with experience of working in similar setup or engagements
  • Strong written and verbal communication and possess financial process efficiency to meet targets
  • Reporting and managing on infrastructure delivery, risk elements, analysis across the process would be added advantage
  • Strong organization and time-management - can-do attitude - ability to multi task and comfortable with changing priorities
  • Leader who can demonstrate and provide guidance to the teams and excellent team player able to manage and prioritize work
