Who we are looking for This role is part of the Non-US Voluntary Research Oversight Team. The team provides a vital role in the Corporate Action value stream; the capture create and notify process. The team provides oversight support to our Joint Venture partner at Syntel in Mumbai, India. The offshore team cleanses corporate action announcements and creates a consolidated notification that is sent to impacted investors and this position provides support and guidance to the team to ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness. There is a high degree of risk associated with this position and risk management skills are critical. The role is based out of Quincy, MA and is responsible for the Global markets and they will work closely with our global teams/sites.
What you will be responsible for As a Corporate Actions Oversight - Research Specialist, Senior Associate you will:
- Provide oversight support to our offshore team in Mumbai
- Research Non-US Voluntary Corporate Actions and provide guidance on event set up and notification
- Review Sub-Custodian and ICSD Data, Vendor Data, Offer Materials, etc. in order to assist the offshore team to create a consolidated Corporate Action Notification that is sent to impacted holders/clients/Investment Managers
- Complete End of Day Reporting Controls
- Respond to inquiries
- Work together with the offshore team to ensure all notifications are released within our established KPIs
- Participate in on-going training and development
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive through fruition
- Review and update SOPs
