As a Barclays Credit Research Analyst, you will be a part of the US fundamental credit research team. You will be supporting coverage for the investment grade energy sector. This coverage includes 30-40 credits that span the energy value chain, including upstream, midstream, downstream and oil field service. The New York team is located on the firm's credit trading floor and consists of sector-oriented analysts that publish actionable and thematic research to institutional clients.

• Supporting the Senior Analyst, responsibilities including financial modeling, qualitative analysis and writing research
• Providing partnership for internal and external client constituents
• Ensuring diligence of new issuers or names to the market
• Monitoring market developments that may affect individual credits
• Contributing to maintaining a positive working environment within Credit Research
• Collaborating with investors and corporate management teams, as part of a high-profile energy research franchise
What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Experience in fundamental sellside or buyside credit research or other areas of credit or equity corporate analysis
• FINRA licensing: SIE, S63, S7. If not registered, we will sponsor
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Organized, excellent attention to detail, and highly motivated
• Experienced with financial statement analysis
• Solid writer with good listening and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate in a dynamic environment
