Your role ...
General Commercial Support for the sector
- You perform analyses on (strategic) clients, sector research and peer analysis.
- You assist in identifying critical business issues and potential new business opportunities.
- You are responsible for collecting (strategic) client and sector information and analyzing this
information in order to detect new sales opportunities.
- You monitor information- and news services and inform the Relationship Manager / Sector Head
about client and sector developments.
- You act as a backup for the relationship manager during holiday periods
Associate Relationship Manager
- You prepare commercial pitches / proposals together with the Relationship Manager / Sector
Head.
- You assist in the origination for products from all ING business lines.
- You prepare briefing memos and advices for client meetings.
- You provide commercial input for Credit Applications, Modifications and Reviews.
- You liaise with product specialists and foreign ING offices.
- You accompany the Relationship Manager / Sector Head in client meetings if so required.
- You help maintain client contacts at treasury level and ensure necessary follow up.
Other tasks
- You assist in performing Customer Due Diligence and related compliance processes in support of
the Relationship Manager/Sector Head.
- You keep various customer data information systems / tools up-to-date.
- You monitor Client Profitability and the realization of our team objectives.
- You represent our sector in several business related projects

Technology, Media, Telecom & Healthcare is a sector that focusses on a wide range of subsectors such as satellites, cinema's, pharma companies, diagnostic companies, elderly care etc. The focus on healthcare as a sector is new since 2018. Our team consists of 6 enthusiastic people : 1 associate RSM, 2 sr RSM's, 2 lending advisors and 1 sector head. We are part of the global sector team Technologies, Media, Telecom & Healthcare within ING-group. Actually we're looking for a dynamic colleague who matches best above described profile to join our team as an Associate Relationship Manager in order to fill the vacancy created by a team member who is heading for a next step in his career.
