You are interested in a specialized management consultancy delivering change initiatives in the areas of Risk, Compliance, Finance (Capital Management and Regulatory Reporting), Treasury and Operations. The Compliance practice advises mainly financial services/Banking/Insurance organizations on a wide variety of Compliance and regulatory domains. These range from the implementation of new regulatory requirements and the remediation following supervisory inspections, to defining, setting and improving Compliance management throughout the organization.
TASKS
Ensure ongoing compliance with regulation;
Perform GDPR compliance project;
Monitor and implement the latest developments in relation to data protection, privacy and cybersecurity;
Maintain the Register of Data Processing Activities;
Monitor and record data breaches;
Carry out Data Processing Impact Assessments;
Reporting of data breaches and analysis;
Update/review data protection related policies, data processing agreements, etc.
Rolling out of policies, procedures and trainings; and
Launching awareness campaigns.

Demonstrable ties with EU – We are looking for candidates with Fluency in French/Dutch and English, who have demonstrable ties with EU (in possession of an EU passport or visa and EU work experience). Our consultants may be asked to travel for our clients, primarily within the Benelux, France, Germany & the UK.
QUALIFICATION
Expertise in data protection, privacy and cybersecurity laws, and in particular an excellent knowledge of the GDPR. We expect candidates to have a degree in Law and to increase their expertise as they develop with us.
Experience of 2 to 5 years as consultant/lawyer/legal officer.
