GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Mission:
The Head of General Banking Zone East is responsible for the development of the Private Individuals activities in his/her zone. Therefore he/she develops a tactical approach including commercial initiatives, implementing our value proposition and client experience in statutory and independent branches, synergies with other segments (personal, professional, wholesale & private banking) and the building of a local network.
She/He :

• is responsible for the realization of the commercial results for Private Individuals in zone East (Mortgages, Savings & Investments and Insurance being the most important product categories)

• is responsible for the digital adoption (accompanying the clients to the digital channels)

• is responsible - for attracting new clients and developing primary relations.

• has an overall responsibility for client approach and satisfaction (NPS)

• participates in developing the Private Individual strategy in cooperation with the other heads of zone and the senior management team of the segment.

• is involved, participates and implements all changes related to Private Individuals Banking (footprint, processes, sales strategy)

• is responsible for the strict conformity of his/her zone with the rules of MiFID, risk and compliance.

• is part of the Management Team Retail Zone East.

Dimensions (figures october YTB 2015) :
• Span of control: 190 FTE - 7 Segment Managers Private Individuals as direct reports
• 472 479 active clients
• Savings: 2,8 billion Euros.
• Lending portfolio: 6 billion Euros

People Management:
• Is the hierarchical head of a team of Segment Managers Private Individuals: he/she gives feedback and coaching to his/her staff.
• Inspires and motivates his teams in order to realize the yearly KPI's, to implement our business model and to embrace changes.
• Through his/her leadership style empowers the team members and drives team cohesion.
• Manages the recruitment, mobility, training & development, reward and retention of his/her staff.
• Ensures good communication within his team and with other lines.
KNOWLEDGE & WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Work experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking industry.
• Knowledge of banking products is a must, especially loans, savings, insurances and investments
• Proven track record in people management and sales
• A previous work experience with other segments or in other business lines is an asset, particularly in change management
• Be familiar with or at least be ready to strongly invest in getting cultural affinity with the local client base
