Based in Brussels, the Fixed Income analyst will be part of the Global Bonds team, one of the six competence centre of the Fixed Income business unit, headed by Philippe Noyard. The Global Bonds team is managing on the one hand, Aggregate and Sovereign Bond funds, with an important focus on ESG and on the other hand, Total Return funds (current assets under management of the team is above €7bn). The Team is also responsible for the analysis of Developed Markets Sovereigns, Inflation Linked Bonds, SSA and Covered bonds. The team further contributes to the definition of global fixed income strategies: duration, country, curve, SSA and credit allocation.
Responsabilities As a member of the Fixed Income Business Unit, the junior Analyst will join a team of 6 portfolio managers, specialized in Aggregate/Government/Total Return fund management.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the enhancement of the investment process of our Sustainable funds range and point of contact with the ESG team
- Contribute to define an optimal allocation between the fixed income asset classes through in-depth analysist translated into investment ideas for the monthly Investment Committees
- Contribute to the team's new projects via analysis and data collection
- Daily/Monthly monitoring, analysis, and reporting of portfolio activity through development of new IT tools
- Conduct statistical, economical, sovereign and credit analyses to further improve the investment decisions taken during our different investment committees
