twentyAI is partnered with a well established and growing fintech payments firm that is seeking a Senior Finance person to effectively run their Belgian Entity. Looking after and coordinating the reporting processes around month end (you will not be required to do the actual accounting) This role is leadership focused with an emphasis on governance.

Role Responsibilities:

Ensure the group's compliance with accounting, regulatory and tax requirements
Work with local teams across finance to ensure compliance with local audit requirements and regulatory requirements on the ground in Brussels
Be the main point of contact for the region for all new entities, products, legislations and ensure that finance is prepared for all changes in order to optimise growth and understanding of customer product
Work with the product and software engineers to ensure efficiencies are maintained across reporting and systems
Review of monthly and quarterly financials for all your entities

Role Requirements

Must be based in and able to work in Brussels, Belgium
Must have significant experience in Financial Control ideally within fintech or financial services
Strong grasp of IFRS/ EU 1606/2002 Regulation on the application of international accounting standards (IAS) and mature financial controls for European entities
Have an ability to move beyond Excel and dig into raw data
Candidates at Manager level in Audit (Big 4 preferred) encouraged to apply
