In this role, we'll be looking for you to grow the business by signing, training and activating new Western Union agents and managing a team of Field Sales Executives in the Benelux region.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop the Western Union retail business in the Benelux region, bringing in new business to the company.
  • Identify new network development opportunities by engaging with small owner-owned enterprises as well as medium-sized companies in selected industries and classes of trade-in, to grow Western Union's physical presence in the "Independents" channel.
  • Lead a team of Field Sales Executives
  • Work independently on larger opportunities and create a network of highly productive agents.
  • Accountable for prospecting, negotiating, signing contracts with new agents, collecting required documents, submitting complete full packages, driving the activation process and training the location.
  • Focus on the ramp-up of new locations to ensure they achieve full revenue potential.
  • Be responsible for meeting/exceeding sales quota/targets across the territory, through new agent acquisition.
  • Be responsible for nurturing and sustaining new business opportunities whilst engaging and collaborating with senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategies in driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Role Requirements
  • Experience in outside sales or servicing of customer products, ideally within the financial services or the retail sector, and knowledge of the Benelux market.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead, coach and guide a sales team to success.
  • Ability to present and listen to your agents and build trust and confidence with them.
  • Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch languages required.
  • Organization, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • This is a working-from-home position that requires regular travel in the Benelux region.
