IT Business Analyst

My client is looking for a motivated IT Business Analyst to join forces.

As a Business Analyst you bridge business requirements to IT solutions, continuously aligning the interests of all project stakeholders. You are responsible to perform feasibility studies for Non-Life Insurance mobility projects.

In collaboration with business owners and IT colleagues, you design the appropriate setup for a set of Non-Life Insurance projects. For every case you will look for the most optimal design choice, while ensuring you adhere to the business, technical and data requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into a fit-for-purpose IT solution.
• Execute a feasibility study where you map out possible solutions taking into account scope, budget, time-to-market and ability-to-execute within the IT landscape.
• Provide regular status updates of your projects to business and IT management Manage multiple projects at once.
• Seek alignment of proposed IT solutions with business, community experts and IT architects.
• Keep up to date with new data trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a business analyst within an IT environment.
• Relevant experience in Non-Life Insurance, knowledge of the mobility domain (car) is an advantage.
• Strong communicator (English and preferably Dutch).
• Able to set the rights priorities while working on multiple projects.
• Interested in data science and big data solution.
• SAFE/Agile mindset.

To be considered for this role you must already have a valid work permit/legal working rights in Belgium.
