Credit Research Analyst / Jnr Portfolio Manager - Multibillion Dollar Hedge Fund (Indonesian / Indian Credit focus)

Job Duties

• Presenting stock ideas and market updates to the portfolio manager in a persuasive manner with a high degree of conviction
• Perform in-depth company and industry analysis to make timely investment recommendations in accordance with appropriate policies and standards
• Work closely with the CIO in communicating and brainstorming exciting new investment ideas
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, changed requests, refinancing and annual due diligence
• Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to managers, especially findings that involve a borrower’s ability to repay
• Building detailed bottom-up financial models with various sensitivities and scenario analysis when required and writing investment notes/one-page summaries for stock recommendations
• Being an active Member of the investment committee and contributing investment inputs on diverse sectors and playing an active role in the investment decision-making process
• Expected to make major stock or sector investment calls
• Reviewing and updating proprietary financial models post-earnings, major corporate events etc.

Requirements

• University graduate in Economics, Finance, Business or related fields
• At least 5-8+ years of research experience
• Desirable: Credit / Bond experience / High Yield / Investment Grade product exposure 
• Passion for excellence, result-driven and work well under pressure
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good command of spoken Bahasa Indonesian or any Indian langauge
