Senior Investment Manager / Investment Manager (Private Funds)

Responsibilities:

To perform in depth investment analysis, market research, deal structuring, evaluate proposed deal terms, risk assessments on investment opportunities.
Prepare professional investment materials for investment committee in support of proposed transactions.
Liaise with legal counsel and other departments to complete and document compliance with sound diligence processes and procedures.
Maintain oversight of portfolio performance to achieve performance targets and enable regular reporting as required
Supporting internal operational activities, including external marketing / reporting, credit and risk management requirements, financial and impact reporting activities for the impact investment portfolio.
Monitor and analyse capital market dynamics, economic trends, industry outlooks and develop actionable insights and recommendations, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.
Manage risks according the portfolio mandate and risk control guidelines
Fully observe the compliance requirements of the portfolio

Requirements:

Degree or above
Able to work independently and willingness to continuously learn and adapt
Self-motivated, able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Demonstrate excellent verbal (mandarin is an advantage) and written communication skills (both English and Chinese), organizational ability, analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible work attitude
Excellent skills in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
Able to take a flexible and creative approach to structuring private debt and equity investments
Possess professional qualifications of CPA is an advantage
Strong capital market knowledge with investment banking experience is an advantage
Experience in fixed income and equity trading is an advantage
Experience in fund formation is an advantage
Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Candidate with less experience will be considered for junior position
