- Reinforce and execute the PMO governance (both strategic and non-strategic) and work with project teams to align schedule and budget to deliver the benefits contributing to overall Company strategy and business goals - Review and clarify business cases to facilitate approval process - Lead transformation projects as assigned

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive transformation program or project delivery within TQC
  • Review business case and facilitate approval process with insightful comments on business justification and implementation approach.
  • reinforce and execute the PMO governance and work with functional and project teams on schedule, budget, and benefits
  • Work with stake holders on the project implementation schedule and budget and integrate with Strategic initiatives to deliver the business result
  • Setup and conduct regular review meeting with project & transformation teams lead and sponsor on execution status, issues, risks, and benefit tracking
  • Organize monthly Steering committee meeting with Exco to report and facilitate governance in line with project governance standard
  • Design and maintain company PMO intranet with regular newsletter sharing best practices/success stories  and proper project document repository
  • Research relevant project management skills/articles for knowledge sharing
  • Develop and promote toolkit to facilitate best practice project management
  • Conduct induction program to new PM for project management life cycle and reporting/governance framework
  • Support coordination of annual strategic planning and budget exercise and quarterly business review
  • Ensure team members who perform regulated activities have obtained the relevant licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements

Financial and Non-Financial Measures:

  • Manage the projects at Company level and looking at portfolios on financial spending within the planned budget
  • Manage the delivery of results; Project completion, Customer Feedback measurement, Utilization, Cost Saving, VoNB, and etc, defined in the projects
  • Quality of the project delivery and feedback from stakeholders
  • Timeliness on completion of projects and regular reviews

Communication Requirements:

Internal (90%)

  • Monthly steering committee meeting, regular PMO meeting review with functional stakeholders and project team, frequent discussion with project managers and delivery leaders, regular meeting with Group Office, Quarterly companywide communication

External (10%)

  • Meeting with external service providers on new service and technology enable ideas to enhance project executions

 

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor degree in Business, post graduate degree is a plus
  • At least 8 years of working experience in Insurance and Financial industry
  • Solid PMO experience is preferable
  • Has worked in various business function within an Insurance / Financial institution
  • Proficient practitioner in programme / project management and has led major cross function teams in projects
  • Excellent leadership skills, team player and ability to influence
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communication with senior executives effectively
  • Have solid Project and Project Management skills and experience
  • Proficient in English and Chinese written and presentation skills
  • You are required to obtain relevant licence if your job involves in regulated activities
