Responsibilities

Work closely with Credit Card/Unsecured Lending product owners and other BA stakeholders to conduct business intelligence and ad-hoc advanced analytics, aiming to discover and fulfill customers' needs proactively, and to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to support business growth
Develop and execute proper monitoring mechanisms following DDOM principles and analytics frameworks to support business performance management and better decisioning
Leverage new data points, data models to bring in new data insight from different angles
Lead and manage data and analytics projects
Continuously explore cutting edge solution in Data Science and take initiatives in evaluating new methodologies and user cases
Constantly review and streamline the current operational workflow to improve the team productivity and efficiency

Requirements

University graduate majoring in mathematics, statistics, business analytics, information system, computer science, or other related discipline
Minimum 3 years' working experiences in business analytics in a sizable finance or consumer banking organization preferrable in Credit Card or Unsecured Lending business
Effective stakeholder management and partnership skills
In-depth knowledge in data and ability to interpret business and financial, web and app analytics data
Strong programming knowledge/skill with statistical modeling software like SAS, SQL, Python or R
Proficient with data cleaning, manipulation, and wrangling with programming tools
Proficient in visualization tool such as QlikView, Qlik Sense or Tableau
Advanced knowledge in Hadoop, Spark is a plus
Conversant with PC application including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Able to work independently and under pressure
Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
