Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform bottom up fundamental research on publicly listed stocks in global markets;
- Identify investment themes and gather industry data to substantiate these ideas;
- Recommend and present company/industry research to the investment team, by articulating the investment thesis and key drivers;
- Monitor existing portfolio positions and follow up with recommendations;
- Assist in ad-hoc projects assigned by the family office
Profile
Requirements
- Excellent academic qualifications with at least three (3) years experience in equity research and ideally on the buy-side
- Degree in Finance/Business or related field from a good university; CFAs preferred
- Good understanding of financial markets; preferably with some experience in financial modelling;
- Keen eye for details and quality-focused;
- Possess critical thinking and strong analytical skills;
- Able to work independently and multi-task;
- Able to write concise and clear research reports
