Global leader in Asset Management looking for Climate Equity/Credit Research Analyst
We are currently working with one of the largest and best-known asset managers who are looking to add a climate research analyst to their team. What they are looking for is someone who combines fundamental equity and or fixed income experience with climate expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a real interest in climate and the ways in which climate change can be integrated into investment processes and philosophies. Our client is looking for someone who is able to demonstrate that they have knowledge and experience of the key climate change concepts, this includes transition pathways, physical climate impacts, emissions measurements and climate aware scenario analysis.
The role with involve being part of the team that are going to be facilitating climate research integration to be used when making investment decisions across the asset classes while working in tandem with the ESG, Equity, and fixed income research analysts. As part of the role you will attend meetings with investment team meetings and also meetings for specific areas and make recommendations with regards to how climate change can be methodically and reliably integrated into the teams strategies.
In order to be considered for this you must match the below requirements: Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience of fundamental security analysis and financial modeling (equity or fixed income), gained on either the Buy or Sell side
- Strong Academic background. Studies related to climate/environmental is advantageous
- Passion for climate change issues
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
