Description
Reporting to the Global Head of BrokerTec, working as part of the global BrokerTec Business Line Management Product team, accountable for revenue and revenue growth, innovation and strategic direction of the businesses related to US TSY's and EGBs

US Treasuries;
Client coverage and relationship management for all EMEA based customers trading US Treasuries on BrokerTec (London, Europe and the Middle East)
Overall supervision and high level operational responsibilities for all trading activity with proactive client engagement daily. Liaising and working closely across divisions for shared services particularly with GCC/Operational support, Legal, Compliance and Sales.
Part of the Global US Treasuries team responsible for all revenue and product innovation and strategy. Knowledge of both the ecosystem for US Treasuries and the competitive landscape. Promoting and marketing all relevant initiatives, technology developments and any functional changes and enhancements, product changes for Benchmark US Treasuries. Product development responsibilities for both the execution piece, market data initiatives and indices working closely with the Listed Rates team to deliver new products and services leveraging opportunities between Cash and Futures & Options.
Leading new sales/customer interest for EMEA, generating new leads, cold calls and intro's for new client opportunities. Manage the on boarding process for any new clients from point of interest to live.
Playing a key part ion connecting start of day session in APAC to London hours through to start of trading in US for any cross over and continuity of cover for seamless product management and support.
Reconciliation of fees and commission structures for US TSY in Europe.
Training and support of all traders on BrokerTec GFE.

European Government Bonds ;
Product and revenue accountability for trading of European Government Bonds on BrokerTec
Providing support across all aspects of EGB trading on BTEC;
Liaising with traders, e-commerce and Business managers
Interacting with Debt Management Offices across Europe for the orderly trading activity, compliance and reporting of Primary Dealer activity on BTEC
Looking at innovation in this sector, including but not limited to trading modality, market data, target customers to explore ways to grow and expand the business for EGBs on BTEC
Reconciliation of fees and commission structures for EGBs, including Market Making Programmes and incentive schemes
Woking across teams, providing as and when required close support with the Repo team in London/Amsterdam

Skills Criteria
  • Ideally educated to Degree level, strong interpersonal skills and friendly disposition to work effectively as part of a team and also demonstrate professional ability and discipline to work on the delivery of tasks and new initiatives/opportunities individually.
  • Knowledge of US Treasuries, Euro Government Bond markets and generally Fixed Income and Rates products
  • Experience gained preferably from a Sales, Trading or trading platform position
  • Understanding the product and landscape plus how they trade and why
  • Good relationships - ideally with sell side/primary dealers across London and EMEA
  • Opportunities to speak and represent the business and sector at events and conferences
  • Willingness to travel, with occasionally working from the Amsterdam office
  • Providing full customer support and interaction through both virtual and face to face meetings and entertainment across the EMEA region
