Your role & work environment

As a Diversity & Inclusion Project Manager, you will deploy the D&I strategy (in close partnership with the Global Community of Expertise D&I) for Market Leaders (Belgium & Netherlands)
You will identify processes and implement solutions to build D&I awareness (e.g. D&I policies, processes and products) that meet business needs and enable the business to realize INGs D&I strategy
Your role is to safeguard aligned and consistent approaches and activities across Market Leaders (Belgium & Netherlands) and be accountable for measuring impact of D&I initiatives
You are part of the Community of Expertise "Talent & Learning" Market Leaders and will be based in Belgium with frequent travel required to Amsterdam
Besides D&I initiatives, you will be involved in various Talent & Learning projects

Your key responsibilities
D&I Expert and safeguard

  • Implement and own D&I solutions that meet business needs (in close partnership and alignment with Global CoE D&I)
  • Own the D&I dashboard and action plan for Market Leaders (Belgium & Netherlands), track and report progress regularly
  • Use subject matter and expertise and process skills to help HR Business Partners, People Services, Business Leaders and Employee networks to understand D&I implications; manage risks and compliances
    D&I Stakeholder
  • Partner with HR Business partners and D&I networks to help identify D&I areas of focus (e.g. learning, recruiting, talent reviews, leadership development aligned to global approach)
  • Coordinate the Empoyee networks (ensuring that network plans align with Market Leaders' overall D&I vision, signing off and tracking progress and impact of these)
  • Lead key D&I events within Market Leaders (e.g. D&I week)
  • Serve as a knowledgeable communicator playing a key role in the D&I communication with internal & external stakeholders (press, external networks...)

    As a Diversity & Inclusion Project Manager you will also need:
  • Master level or equivalent
  • Experience of minimum 5 years in people domain (D&I, leadership development, talent management, learning...)
  • Strong project / programme management skills that enable translating a vision into a tangible delivery plan that leads to workable business solutions
  • Outside looking mindset and learning agility: closely following trends and innovations in and outside the financial industry as well as throughout the area of expertise
  • Strong relationship and collaboration skills; ability to build rapport with stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds, geographies and at varying levels of seniority
  • The ability to contribute at a global level while working in virtual teams
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability according to the changing needs and priorities of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills in order to bring a compelling story and engage stakeholders on new or existing people / D&I solutions
  • Affinity with numbers and data and a good understanding on how data analysis and reporting support building better people solutions
