You will be involved on a day-to-day basis in the further development of the algorithms behind one of InvestSuite's 2 main product lines:
Both products are developed in Python and are fully cloud-based (AWS)
The role will report into the Head of Research, Emmanuel Wildiers, who previously worked as a senior quantitative fund manager at KBC Asset Management and Schroders. There will also be close collaboration with the CTO, Laurent Sorber, who holds a PhD in mathematical engineering and has set up his own Artificial Intelligence consultancy company, as well as a B2C robo-advisor.
You are either:
Candidates should be highly motivated, self-starting, passionate and intrigued by the crossroads of finance, mathematics, design, and computer science. Knowledge of Python - or similar languages such as R or Matlab - is a requirement. Experience with either portfolio optimisation, performance attribution methodologies or natural language processing/generation is a big plus.
