about the team
You will manage a team operational risk managers based in HK.
about the job
- You will lead firm-wide enhancement and implementation of the ORM framework, methodology and tools in line with the Group's risk appetite
- You will ensure that an effective operational risk reporting process is in place
- Ensure effective governance structure of ORM and the adoption of three lines of defense model
- Review and investigate major operational risk incidents to ensure proper corrective actions, identify root causes and drive effective preventive actions
- Lead enhancement and implementation of the Bank's enterprise FRM policy, guidelines and procedures
- Implement a structured process for managing fraud risk identification, assessment, reporting, control and mitigation
- Direct and lead the conduct of periodic fraud risk assessments and fraud investigations
skills & experiences required
- University degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management or related disciplines
- At least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in operational risk management and control
- Good knowledge of retail, corporate banking and treasury products - ideal
- Good track record in people management/leadership role
- Strong presentation and communication skills in fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin)
