Your new role

• Perform trigger event and Know Your Customers (KYC") reviews by reviewing documentation pack from Sales, including Client Identification Programme (CIP") documents, Total Net Worth Update Form and other documents as required for updating client's data throughout the life cycle.
• Communicate proactively and effectively to Sales on missing documentation, inconsistent information, etc.
• Ensure accuracy of data entry in account maintenance workflow tool based on documentation and KYC information received.
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to obtain approvals and manage escalations for account update requests.
• Ensure account documentation and relevant approval records are retained properly in the internal database.
• Handle certain administrative &/or review tasks, such as document scanning, data entry, internal or client form update and/or management reporting where required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education or experience
• At least 5 years' professional experience in the Banking / Financial industry
• Knowledge of CIP/KYC documentation
• Knowledge of account structures of various complexities, including Individual, PHC, trust, etc.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of SOW corroboration and TNW substantiation is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. advanced formulas); knowledge of VBA, Power BI or other data visualisation / automation tools is an advantage.
• Prior experience in private banking, trigger event, or KYC / SOW review is an advantage.
