What you'll own

• Understand requirement and translate that to product features.

• Participate in Scrum meetings and express the work done and the plan clearly. Participate in scrum ceremonies and clearly communicate.

• Lead an agile team and provide technical guidance. Participate in scrum calls and drive technical discussions.

• Work on application design.

• Develop applications using Front end and database related technologies.

• Should be hands in developing and implementing best practices and write smart piece of code.

• Coding standard should be followed, and the code should be highly performant.

• Should be able to write unit test cases using any of the frameworks and should be completely automated.

• Should be able to develop reusable components using proper design patterns as listed by lead/architect so that it is extensible.

• Should be able to use design patterns and implement the right solution.

• Should be able to do code review and implement automation wherever required to ease development process.

• Knowledge of engineering practices like CI-CD.

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

• Experience in iterative development methodologies like Agile.

What you'll bring

• Strong experience in Core Java , Java 8/Java11, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest API, Spring JPA, Spring Batch.
• Angular, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Java script, TypeScript, Node JS, Bootstrap, Apache Tomcat, Eclipse IDE, Visual Code, Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with SQL Server, SQL writing stored procedures, performance tuning and identifying deadlocks, transactions and data locking/blocking scenarios.
• Experience with JUnit & Mockito, Jasmine or Karma to write unit tests source code.
• Familiar with Continuous Integration methodologies and tools, including Jenkins.
• Exposure in designing applications and applied design patterns.
• Good communication and unit testing knowledge.

It's a bonus if you have

• Exposure to Ionic framework development experience, Cordova.
• Adhere to Swagger Hub or Open API specification.
• Knowledge in one of the cloud platform like AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Exposure to Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and cloud deployment.
• Fintech/Payments Domain

What you'll own

The hired candidate will ensure following
- high quality code development for new features
- ensure proper test coverage

- A ideal candidate will have responsibility of developing of independent capability within software in a specified time frame following industry wide best practices with an objective to learn on the job and adhere to new principles and practices as it evolves.
- This is a 100% developer position where the candidate is expected to be proficient and has a good hands-on on JAVA, with good working / hands-on with JAVA8+

• There will be normal business hours allowing some overlap with UK business hours.

What you'll bring

• An ideal candidate shall possess below capabilities:
  Tools and technology:
  - JAVA8 +/ JAVA17 / JAVA 21
  - Spring Boot / Framework
  - JUNIT
  - REST API
  - Good to have SAFe know how
  - Good to have Cloud technology know how
  - Good to know terraform
  - Good to know Jenkins CI/CD
  - Good to have Angular JS/ React JS or Kotlin

-Work with minimal supervision
- Able to upskill on modern technologies
- Shall be able to go through and interpret technical specification and documentation
