The EIB, the European Union's bank is seeking to recruit for its Corporate Services Directorate - Information Technology (CS IT) - Transversal Services Department (TSD) - Information & Operations Division (IO) - Client Services Unit (CS) at its headquarters in Luxembourg, a (Senior) Windows Engineer. This is a full time position at grade 5/6.
The term of this contract will be 4 years.
Panel interviews are anticipated for October 2020.
The EIB offers fixed-term contracts of up to a maximum of 6 years, according to business needs, with a possibility to convert to a permanent contract, subject to organisational requirements and individual performance.
Purpose
(Senior) Windows Engineer (internally referred to as (Senior) Engineer IT Technology and Infrastructure) manages the technology roadmap, design and delivery of projects. You will be responsible for daily operations concerning the following scope: Windows Operating Systems Server, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Exchange Services, File Services, Microsoft Identity Manager, One Identity Manager and System Center Configuration Manager in order to meet the functional and technology needs of the organisation. It will be your contribution to the achievement of the EIB objectives.
Operating Network
You will be part of the IT Client Services Unit and report to the Head of Unit. You will cooperate closely with counterparties from IT and the business. You will be in direct contact with the service desk and other IT teams notably in the area of integration, development, infrastructure, servers, VMWare, storage. Moreover, you will work closely with the IT Security Unit.
