To support its continued growth across Latin America, the firm is seeking a Vice President / Senior Associate to join their team in Mexico City, leading transaction execution efforts and contributing to business development initiatives throughout the region. What the job involves
- Lead the end-to-end execution of infrastructure and energy transactions across Latin America, ensuring successful delivery from origination through closing
- Structure complex project finance and M&A transactions, developing innovative solutions tailored to clients' strategic and financial objectives
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle, including due diligence processes, risk assessment, documentation review, and execution planning
- Oversee the development, review, and refinement of sophisticated financial models used for valuation, financing, and investment decision-making
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining ongoing communication and providing strategic guidance throughout transaction execution
- Drive business development initiatives across the region by cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients in the infrastructure and energy sectors
- Identify new advisory opportunities, originate mandates, and contribute to the expansion of the firm's presence in Latin American markets
- Lead the preparation and delivery of client presentations, transaction proposals, and marketing materials to support business growth efforts
- Direct multidisciplinary deal teams and oversee all aspects of transaction management, coordinating efforts among clients, lenders, investors, advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Represent the firm in client meetings, industry events, and strategic discussions, strengthening market visibility and long-term partnerships
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering high-performance execution standards and professional development
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline from a highly regarded university, supported by a strong academic record
- Proven experience advising on infrastructure & energy transactions, gained within leading investment banks, commercial banks, advisory firms, private equity funds, or top-tier consulting organizations
- Demonstrated track record of successfully originating, structuring, and executing complex M&A, project finance, and strategic advisory transactions across the infrastructure and energy sectors
- Outstanding financial analysis, valuation, and advanced financial modeling capabilities
- Ability to engage effectively with senior executives, investors, lenders, and key industry stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Full professional fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
