I am currently recruiting on behalf of a major Financial Services organisation who are in the process of creating a new Engineering Hub based in Birmingham. As part of this transition they are recruiting for a number of IT Leadership roles including a Lead SRE to support the growth of the firm from a digital perspective.
This is as close to a start up as you can get within a major organisation, you'll be a separate entity supporting the digital growth of the organisation. You'll be responsible for technical leadership of a high skilled team and you'll be encouraged to bring new ideas to the table and support the project within a totally greenfield environment. You'll be part of the initial stages of the project and helping to support the function building from the ground up, recruiting a team and defining the strategy. Key technologies include:
