The firm is uniquely positioned to exploit a growing market demand in an extremely hot sector right now. The founders, both software engineers and serial entrepreneurs, have put together a highly experienced team, many of whom have worked together for several years.
Until now, the finance function has been handled by the COO/Co-Founder and a board member who’s an experienced CFO. They now need to make their first dedicated hire for finance. This person will have a key role, taking on full responsibility for developing and running the accounting and financial infrastructure and processes. You will also be hiring a finance assistant almost immediately. The firm has recently migrated over to Xero so experience with this software would be a plus albeit it shouldn’t take someone long to grasp.
We are looking for someone who is both extremely solid on the numbers side but also someone who is highly commercial and has experience in dealing with, reviewing and amending commercial contracts. The role will only grow so we need someone who can learn quickly, use their initiative, be adaptable to change and much more.
