My client is a Financial Services organisation within the Public Sector market. They are currently looking for an IT Procurement professional to come on board following a Procurement transformation. The role would be based in East Central London and has management responsibilities, paying up to £60,000.
Role: This opportunity has line management responsibilities looking after a small team of IT Sourcing Specialists, performing reviews of capabilities, facilitating and managing performance and appraisal meetings, carrying out coaching and development support and promoting good business culture. Focusing on implementing
strategic sourcing of either Software or Infrastructure with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing risk.
Must haves: - Experience managing end to end procurement in a public sector environment (OJEU and PCR 15)
- Knowledge and experience sourcing IT procurement categories (Software or Infastructure)
- Previous experience and evidence of independent working or line management
