CME Group are looking for a Security Supervisor to work along site the Manager UK Security based out of our London offices near Liverpool Street . Working with the Manager UK Security, the Security Supervisor will act as a deputy site lead and be responsible for advising on the physical security of the CME Group London operations, office space and workers. This will be achieved by conducting gap analyses around the knowledgebase of the Global Security team and identify relevant training and provide briefings of the latest best practices in the security industry.
Key Responsibilities include: - Maintain close liaison with the Manager UK Security, Global Security Director, Business Continuity Management and Facilities Management and to provide support and input for related business continuity functions and assist Human Resources in any worker safety concerns.
- Assist in the day to day operations of the Regional Security Command Center. Ensure all procedural, process and emergency response documentation for the region's buildings are maintained and kept up to date. Continually review and analyse-real time information regarding the physical security status of all CME Group facilities, personnel, and infrastructure for the region.
- Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
- Continually evaluate security policies with the Manager UK Security, Global Security Director & Chief Security Officer to design and implement changes that will raise quality standards and improve the physical security of CME Group.
- Responsible for immediate day-to-day physical security and access control related to the London Fruit & Wool Office (LFWE).
- Conduct regular tests and audits of the access control system to meet CME Group's compliance guidelines.
- Act as the Life Safety coordinator for the London office space. Provide on-site supervision of any incident requiring CME security action.
- Provide assistance at all emergencies and have working knowledge of CME evacuation, medical, Shelter-In-Place (SIP), Security and Fire emergency procedures to provide a safe environment for all persons in CME space.
- In the absence of the Manager UK Security provide Executive Protection for CME Groups visiting Senior Leadership. Conduct reconnaissance of meeting venues, hotels and restaurants itemised on the itinerary, produce pre-visit reports for Global Security Leadership, arrange vehicles as required and provide escort when appropriate.
- Engage in extensive interactions with local and National law enforcement/first responders, this includes Metropolitan and City of London Police (CoLP).
- Evaluate and interpret data from all law enforcement agencies to determine relevance, sensitivity and criticality around current intelligence, threats, trends and concerns as it relates to the safety and security of the CME Group.
Desired Skills and Experience: - Strong interpersonal skills
- Law Enforcement/Security background with extensive contacts with local and national law enforcement
- Experience managing contract security force
- Experience managing command center operations
- Strong background with access control and CCTV systems.
