Work You'll Do

As a Project - Lead Analytics and Insights Engineer II on the project, you will:
  • Perform exploratory analysis, filtering logic, KPI analysis, data profiling, cohort segmentation, and analytical support for validation and business questions.
  • Handle analyses around a very large dataset, identifying outliers, and utilization rate calculations across different geographies
  • Conduct complex actuarial analysis support to assist client in the research, design, and development of innovation models and demonstrations
  • Perform predictive data analysis work to determine forecast utilization or enrollment seasonality
  • Dive deep into data quality standards, working closely with project leadership, to identify what constitutes a 'good' dataset by considering if the data has referential integrity, if it conforms to expected values, and is comprehensive
  • Present these findings and analysis in a clear format to project and client leadership

Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project-focused professionals.

Qualifications

Required :
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance for this role
  • 8+ years of experience in data science, data analysis or data engineering functions
  • 5+ years of advanced Python experience for data manipulation and analysis
  • 5+ years of experience with Databricks for data engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare analysis, rules, and compliance
  • Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with large health care datasets including claims, enrollment, providers, and financials preferred
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Previous Federal Health experience preferred
  • Active Public Trust clearance preferred
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $122,000 to $240,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
