Role Roadmap



The web is one of the most important places Kalshi's brand comes to life. As we grow, launch new products and partnerships, and show up around increasingly ambitious cultural moments, we need our web presence to move just as quickly and feel unmistakably Kalshi.



This role will own Kalshi's brand expression on the web. You'll design everything from core brand and marketing pages to campaign launches, partnership pages, policy and editorial experiences, and one-off digital moments. You'll work closely with Brand and Engineering to take projects from idea through launch while building reusable systems that make our web presence faster, more consistent, and more ambitious over time.



This is a role for a strong brand designer who specializes in digital, not a traditional product designer. You should care deeply about typography, layout, interaction, motion, and the details that turn a website into a memorable brand experience.


What You'll Do

• Own website design projects from initial concept through launch


• Turn Kalshi's visual identity into distinctive digital experiences - not simply place existing brand assets into templates


• Develop strong creative concepts, page structures, visual systems, and interaction ideas


• Design polished, responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile


• Prototype motion, transitions, and interactive behaviors


• Work directly with front-end engineers throughout development


• Review builds, provide detailed design feedback, and ensure the finished website meets a high bar


• Create and evolve reusable components and patterns that improve speed and consistency


• Balance fast-moving launches with longer-term improvements to Kalshi's website system


• Help establish Kalshi's visual and interaction language across the web


• Proactively identify opportunities to make our websites clearer, more useful, and more memorable

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience designing websites and digital brand experiences


• A portfolio centered on exceptional, shipped website work


• Outstanding typography, composition, hierarchy, and visual-design judgment


• Strong digital art-direction and brand-design skills


• A deep understanding of responsive website design


• Strong interaction and motion-design instincts


• Advanced proficiency in Figma


• Experience collaborating directly with front-end engineers


• The ability to carry an idea from an early creative concept to a production-ready design


• Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to spot and resolve differences between design and implementation


• The judgment to move quickly when needed without compromising the quality of the work


• The ability to independently lead projects in an ambitious, fast-moving environment

Bonus

• Designed websites for a highly recognizable consumer or technology brands


• Created campaign sites, product launches, or interactive brand experiences


• Built or evolved a website design system or reusable component library


• Designed editorial, data-rich, or content-heavy websites


• Worked closely with engineers on sophisticated web interactions


• Experience in fintech, trading, sports, media, culture, or consumer technology


• Experience at a high-growth startup or creative environment with a rapid pace

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure



Salary Range: $115,000 to $180,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
