The Belgian Office

Based in Brussels , the Wavestone Belgium office currently gathers around 35 consultants and is entering a new phase of growth, driven by strong market demand in two strategic areas: Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence .

Over the past years, we have established strong credibility, recognised expertise and trusted client relationships. We are now looking to accelerate our commercial footprint across Belgium and the wider European ecosystem.

The Belgian office operates with a high degree of autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly shape the growth trajectory of the office, open new markets and build lasting relationships with leading Belgian organisations, European institutions and international bodies based in Brussels. Help build the next chapter of Wavestone Belgium by opening strategic accounts across Belgium and European institutions, and turning our Cybersecurity and AI expertise into sustainable business growth.

Description du poste

We are looking for a true business hunter to accelerate Wavestone's growth in Belgium and within European institutions.

Your mission is simple: open doors, build executive relationships and turn them into long-term client partnerships around two of today's most strategic topics: Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

You will not inherit a large portfolio of existing accounts. Instead, you will help create the next generation of Wavestone clients in Belgium. This role is designed for someone who enjoys building from scratch, creating opportunities where others see obstacles and thriving in an entrepreneurial environment. High energy, resilience, curiosity and the ability to establish trust with senior decision-makers matter more to us than a perfect consulting background.

You will work hand in hand with our consultants and partners to develop new business opportunities, promote Wavestone's expertise and contribute directly to the growth strategy of the Belgian office.

What success looks like after 12 months

Open several new strategic accounts across Belgium and European institutions.
Build a strong qualified pipeline in AI and Cybersecurity.
Establish trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and executive sponsors.
Contribute materially to the growth ambitions of the Belgian office.
Increase Wavestone's visibility and reputation across the Belgian and European ecosystem.

1. New Business & Client Acquisition - Your #1 Priority

Your primary mission is to identify, connect with and win new client accounts.

You will:

Identify, research and target new prospects and decision-makers across Belgian large organisations, public sector entities, European institutions, agencies and international organisations.
Build and develop a robust prospecting pipeline through networking, direct outreach, referrals, industry events, LinkedIn and creative prospecting initiatives.
Build and maintain a strong network within the Belgian and European ecosystem, identifying opportunities before they formally emerge.
Prepare, schedule and co-lead client meetings and executive presentations alongside consultants and partners.
Qualify client business challenges and connect them with the most relevant Wavestone expertise.
Drive opportunities from first contact to contract signature, including negotiations and procurement processes.
Contribute to increasing Wavestone's visibility and reputation across Belgium and the European ecosystem.

2. Client Relationship & Complex Sales

On your accounts, you will build trusted, long-term partnerships.

You will:

Develop strong relationships with executives and key stakeholders.
Expand Wavestone's footprint by identifying new sponsors, needs and opportunities.
Organise and lead commercial meetings alongside consulting teams.
Promote Wavestone's AI and Cybersecurity offerings while leveraging the broader expertise of the Group when relevant.
Coordinate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and experts.
Lead commercial negotiations and close strategic opportunities.

3. Account Strategy & Commercial Excellence

You will play an active role in shaping the commercial development strategy of the Belgian office.

You will:

Analyse target markets and identify strategic growth opportunities.
Define and execute account development and market penetration plans.
Track and manage sales activities, pipeline and performance indicators through Salesforce.
Contribute to commercial reviews and strategic decision-making.
Stay ahead of trends in AI, Cybersecurity and digital transformation.

Leverage the broader Wavestone network to maximise business opportunities and market impact

What We Are Looking For

Experience & Background

Master's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Management or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales or account management within a complex B2B environment.
Proven track record of opening new accounts and generating new business.
Experience in consulting, technology services, cybersecurity, AI solutions, professional services or SaaS is a strong plus.
Exposure to complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
Comfortable with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools.
