Citi's head of European and emerging markets sales trading is not there
Where is Ross Taylor, the head of European and emerging markets equities trading at Citi? Not, it seems, upon the desk right now.
Citi is declining to comment on Taylor's whereabouts, but multiple sources suggest he's no longer there. We have not confirmed this with Taylor himself.

Taylor began his career over two decades ago and joined Citi from Morgan Stanley in 2021. He was promoted to head of EMEA and EM sales trading at the bank in March 2024. His FCA Registration shows him leaving at the end of July 2026, although some sources say he officially left last week.
Citi's equities sales and trading business is having a good year, with revenues up 42% year-on-year in the first half. Equities sales and trading globally at the bank is run by Fater Belbachir, who is also based in London and is presumably having a good year too.
