Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is hiring a Full-Time Overnight Mobile Patrol Officer to provide security services for residential apartment communities and other client properties throughout the Denver area. This position requires a security professional who can work independently while traveling between multiple locations, conducting patrols, responding to client service requests, and maintaining detailed documentation of daily activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and committed to delivering professional security services while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities

Mobile Patrol & Property Security

• Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols across assigned apartment communities, residential neighborhoods, retail centers, and construction sites.
• Perform routine foot patrols to inspect buildings, parking areas, common spaces, gates, and perimeter fencing.
• Verify that client properties remain secure throughout each patrol cycle.
• Maintain a visible security presence to help discourage trespassing, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.

Client Response

• Respond promptly to calls for service received from clients or property representatives.
• Investigate complaints involving suspicious activity, noise disturbances, safety concerns, or property-related issues.
• Take appropriate action within company guidelines while maintaining professionalism.
• Communicate significant incidents or ongoing concerns to supervisors.

Observation & Reporting

• Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards.
• Complete detailed patrol reports, activity logs, and incident documentation for every assigned property.
• Utilize company reporting systems and mobile applications to accurately document daily activities.
• Ensure all reports are thorough, accurate, and submitted before the end of each shift.

• Represent Citadel Security USA professionally during all client interactions.
• Follow site-specific post orders and company operating procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding client operations and sensitive information.
• Promote a safe and secure environment through consistent patrols and proactive observation.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with three consecutive years of licensed driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major driving infractions within the past five years.
• Ability to safely operate a patrol vehicle throughout the assigned shift.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Ability to pass all required background screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of mobile patrol security experience preferred.
• Experience protecting residential communities or multi-property accounts.
• Familiarity with electronic reporting platforms and mobile workforce applications.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.

Work Environment

• Overnight patrol assignment covering multiple client locations.
• Combination of vehicle patrols and routine walking inspections.
• Indoor and outdoor responsibilities in varying weather conditions.
• Frequent driving between assigned properties.
• Independent work requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective time management.
