Your Opportunity
You will be joining a well-established organisation on an initial three-month contract, with the strong likelihood of an extension.
You'll be part of a high-performing finance team of six, supported by experienced and hands-on leadership. This is a fully onsite role based in the CBD, working from a brand-new, purpose-built office.
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, preparing payment runs, and performing account reconciliations. You will play a key role in maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the organisation's financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare payment summaries and manually calculate client rebates.
- Process vendor reconciliations while working closely with the shared services team to create purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs).
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier queries.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across operations, procurement, and finance teams.
- Support audit requirements and provide documentation as required.
Experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Strong attention to detail with great communication skills both written and verbally
- Intermediate excel understanding with prior use of Pivot tables and V look ups
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP's
