About the role:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop an understanding of the following concepts; Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions, Goods and Service Tax, and Fringe Benefits;
• Ability to undertake less complex tax areas and tax procedures;
• Communicate with the ATO, including resolving administrative issues and handling general ATO queries;
• Completion of tax returns for large and small companies, other business entities and individuals.

About you:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

• Business / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting Major

Desirable

• Business / Commerce / Finance / Law double degree with Accounting Major

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Commence CA and complete one Tax Institute Module
