The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised and customer-focused Service Administrator to join a busy and friendly team. As the central point of contact for customers and technicians, you will be responsible for coordinating service schedules, booking jobs, managing customer enquiries and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the service department.
This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
- Schedule and coordinate daily service and maintenance jobs for technicians
- Manage incoming phone calls, emails and customer enquiries
- Liaise with customers regarding bookings, service updates and job completion
- Prepare and send invoices upon completion of works
- Process customer payments and maintain accurate records
- Raise work orders and update service management systems
- Monitor technician schedules and make adjustments as required
- Follow up outstanding invoices and customer payments
- Maintain customer databases and service records
- Support the wider operations team with general administrative duties
- Assist in managing customer expectations and resolving queries professionally
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
Your Profile
- Previous experience in a Service Administrator, Service Coordinator, Customer Service or Administration role
- Experience scheduling field staff, tradespeople or technicians highly regarded
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers
- Experience with invoicing, payments or accounts administration advantageous
