Finance Manager Opportuntiy Your new company
a reputbale firm based on the Gold Coast and Brisbane are looking for an Accountant to join their team
Your new role

Oversee the operational finance functions of the firm in accordance with accounting standards and firm requirements

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment authorisation, and debtor management.

Develop, monitor and manage the firm's budgets and financial forecasts

Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions

Oversee bank reconciliations and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity

Manage trust account compliance, audit preparations and regulatory requirements

Supervise and support other support staff undertaking finance related tasks

Liaise with external accountants to facilitate audits and financial reviews

What you'll need to succeed

Senior bookkeeper or qualified accountant with relevant qualifications in bookkeeping, accounting, finance or related field

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting roles, preferably within a legal environment

Strong proficiency with accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
