Your new role
As the AI Product Owner, you will be responsible for identifying, shaping and delivering AI-enabled products and capabilities from concept through to implementation and adoption. Acting as the link between business stakeholders, technology teams, data specialists and risk functions, you'll lead the delivery of AI use cases that improve business outcomes and customer experiences.Key responsibilities include:
- Developing AI product roadmaps aligned to business priorities
- Identifying and prioritising high-value AI opportunities
- Managing product backlogs, user stories and delivery plans
- Leading cross-functional delivery squads including AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Architects
- Driving stakeholder engagement and change adoption
- Supporting AI governance, privacy, risk and compliance activities
- Tracking benefits realisation and product performance post-implementation
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or Digital Delivery professional
- Experience delivering AI, automation, analytics or digital transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience leading cross-functional Agile teams
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
- Understanding of Generative AI, AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI delivery frameworks
- Experience within banking, financial services or other regulated industries will be highly regarded
- Opportunity to shape and influence an enterprise-wide AI strategy
