We’re working with a global trading and investment firm seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build applications used by its trading, quantitative research and operations teams.

This is a hands-on role spanning backend services, data integration and interactive frontends. You’ll work directly with the people using your software, turning complex requirements into reliable tools that make a difference day to day.

What you’ll do

1. Design, build and maintain internal applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
2. Develop APIs, data pipelines and services that connect trading systems, databases and market data sources.
3. Build intuitive dashboards and interfaces for technical and business users.
4. Work with trading, quant and operations teams to understand problems and deliver practical solutions.
5. Contribute to deployment, monitoring, testing and engineering standards.

What we’re looking for

1. Around 5+ years of experience building production software across the stack.
2. Strong backend skills in Python (Java, Go, Rust accepted if proficient in Python)
3. Experience with React, Vue or Angular.
4. Experience designing APIs and working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
5. Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD and cloud platforms.

Experience with event-driven systems or messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ would be useful. Trading experience is welcome, but the core requirement is strong software engineering and an interest in building tools for a fast-moving environment.
