Head of Operations

Sydney | $200k + super + bonus | 5 days in office

An established and highly regulated organisation is looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead and develop a large operational function.

This is a senior leadership role for someone who has managed large teams, operated in a complex regulated environment, and can balance day-to-day operational excellence with longer-term transformation and improvement.

The Role

• Lead and develop a large, multi-disciplinary operations team
• Oversee critical operational processes and ensure high standards of service delivery
• Drive operational efficiency, process improvement and automation initiatives
• Strengthen controls, governance and risk management across the function
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business
• Lead change initiatives and support the ongoing growth of the organisation
• Build a high-performing, accountable and collaborative team culture

About You

You will be an experienced operations leader with a proven track record of managing large teams within a regulated environment.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant experience leading sizeable operational teams
• Strong understanding of governance, controls and operational risk
• Experience in a highly regulated or complex professional environment
• A track record of process improvement and operational transformation
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• The ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the detail
• A collaborative, adaptable and commercially minded approach

This is a 5-day-per-week office-based role in Sydney.
