Your new role
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you'll be at the heart of the lending operation, assessing and approving residential mortgage applications while balancing customer outcomes with sound credit judgement. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you'll review complex lending scenarios, analyse servicing and security positions, and make quality credit decisions within your Delegated Lending Authority. You'll partner closely with Business Development Managers, brokers and key stakeholders to structure deals, workshop scenarios and deliver timely solutions. This is a dynamic role suited to a credit professional who enjoys solving problems, working on complex transactions and playing a key role in business growth.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in residential mortgage credit assessment within a bank or non-bank lender
- Delegated Lending Authority (DLA) exceeding $1 million
- Experience assessing non-confirming applications
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to make balanced commercial credit decisions
- Strong stakeholder management experience with brokers, BDMs and internal teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume lending environment
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
