Are you a Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in your Public Practice career with a respected and well-established Tasmanian firm?

We're partnering with a highly regarded accounting and advisory practice in Hobart that has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality advice to privately owned businesses, SMEs and high-net-worth clients. Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to their collaborative Business Services team.

Working closely with Managers and Directors, you'll manage your own client portfolio, provide trusted business and tax advice, mentor junior team members and play a key role in building long-term client relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, wants greater autonomy and is looking to progress their career within a supportive firm that genuinely invests in its people.

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or nearing completion).
• 5+ years' experience within Australian Public Practice.
• Strong experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
• Confident managing a portfolio of business clients with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Experience reviewing junior staff work or mentoring team members is highly regarded.
• A proactive approach and genuine desire to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
