Our client is a globally operating industrial company that is investing heavily in its data and analytics capabilities. To strengthen a growing Data & Analytics team, we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who enjoys building modern cloud-based data platforms and driving technical excellence across the entire data lifecycle

Aufgaben

Design, develop, and enhance scalable data solutions within a modern Microsoft Fabric environment, enabling reliable and efficient data processing across the organization
Build and optimize data integration processes, transforming data from multiple source systems into analytics-ready assets for business stakeholders
Develop robust ELT/ETL workflows, data models, and Lakehouse structures while continuously improving performance, scalability, and maintainability
Drive the evolution of the data platform through modern architecture approaches, automation, monitoring, and governance best practices
Ensure high standards of data quality, security, compliance, and operational reliability through testing, validation, metadata management, and access control concepts
Act as a technical sparring partner for architects, developers, and business teams, contributing to architecture decisions and future platform strategy

Profil

Experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Analytics Engineering within modern cloud-based environments
Strong expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Azure-based data platforms, Databricks, or comparable technologies
Excellent knowledge of SQL and Spark; experience with Python and data pipeline automation is highly desirable
Solid understanding of Lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and enterprise-scale analytics platforms
Experience with Power BI, CI/CD practices, data governance frameworks, and self-service analytics is a plus
A structured and solution-oriented mindset combined with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
