About The Role
We are seeking a designer who can craft intuitive, seamless user experiences that solve real customer problems and elevate our product.
As a Product Designer, you will shape the end-to-end user experience across multiple software initiatives. Working closely with product management, engineering, research, data and operations teams, you will translate complex requirements and customer insights into clear, intuitive, and high-quality design solutions. You will lead the creation of user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs; validate concepts through testing and feedback; and ensure design quality throughout the development lifecycle.
You will be part of a small, collaborative team driving the transformation of our products into a seamless, user-centred digital experience built on a scalable design system.
What the job involves:
• Lead rapid prototyping with internal users and clients to validate concepts early, uncover problems and unmet needs, and translate feedback into clear design direction.
• Serve as the dedicated UI/UX resource with the scrum team, shaping and delivering high-quality UI outputs that guide development and inform technical decisions.
• Design and facilitate collaborative working session to create user journeys, wireframes and prototypes that solve complex workflows and align stakeholders around a shared vision.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate assumptions and inform design choices.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data and operations teams to ensure design intent is carried through development and delivery.
• Contribute to high-level experience and system architecture, making thoughtful trade-offs with cross-functional partners.
• Support Agile development by providing design clarity, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Define and track UX metrics, using data and experimentation to iterate and improve.
• Help evolve and maintain our design system and component library. • Bring fresh thinking from industry trends to improve our design processes and product experiences.
• Develop expertise in a specialist area within the Design function to support the wider team.
Requirements
• Strong experience designing end-to-end experiences for complex B2B or enterprise software, ideally within financial services or similarly data-heavy domains.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g.: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and style guides, and working closely with engineering teams on component-based architecture.
• Comfortable leading discovery, validating concepts with users, and applying structured UX and product frameworks to solve customer problems.
Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data and operations) with the ability navigate from high-level concepts to detailed interaction design.
• Skilled in articulating design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience working within Agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to work on digital transformation initiatives, contributing to design from initial conception through to development handover and lifecycle management.
• A user-centred mindset paired with an opinionated, detail-oriented approach to improving processes, workflows, and product quality.
