Daiwa Capital Markets is seeking an experienced Senior M&A Banker (Director / Executive Director) to join its Korea platform. This is an opportunity to work within a lean, high-impact team , partnering closely with Daiwa’s global M&A network to originate and execute cross-border transactions.

1. Originate, structure, and execute M&A transactions across Korea and cross-border markets
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporates, financial sponsors, and institutional clients
3. Drive business development initiatives and contribute to pipeline generation
4. Lead deal execution, including valuation, negotiation, and transaction management
5. Collaborate with regional and global teams to deliver integrated M&A solutions

1. 5+ years of M&A experience within an investment bank or advisory platform
2. Proven track record in deal origination and execution
3. Established client relationships across corporates and/or private equity funds
4. Strong experience in cross-border transactions and collaboration with international teams
5. Fluency in Korean and English is essential
6. Additional language skills (Japanese and/or Mandarin ) are advantageous
