A leading global insurance brokerage already has a strong cyber insurance and broking presence in Dubai, financial lines, M&A, crisis management, all well covered. What's missing is the piece that comes before any of that, someone who can walk into a client's business, understand their real cyber exposure, and explain it credibly to a CISO before insurance ever enters the conversation. That's this role.

You'll build out the technical cyber risk consulting layer for their DIFC based practice, running risk assessments, maturity reviews and board level briefings, then working hand in hand with the existing broking and placement team to translate that risk into language an insurer can price. You will have real oversight of how this side of the business grows.

This suits someone at senior manager level, from a Big 4 or major consultancy background, or someone from a brokerage who has kept genuine technical depth rather than moving purely into placement and relationship management. What matters most is that you can sit across from a CISO and hold your own on why a specific control gap needs fixing, not just describe it at a policy level. Technical Cyber depth is critical.

What you'll be doing

1. Delivering risk assessments, maturity reviews and board level reporting for clients across the region
2. Working alongside the existing broking and crisis management team to translate technical risk into insurable language
3. Building out the technical cyber consulting offering as client demand grows
4. Being the credible technical voice in the room with CISOs, CROs and boards

You're a strong fit if you have

1. 8 or more years in cyber security or technology risk, with real hands on technical depth
2. Currently at senior manager level within a Big 4 or major consultancy, or a strong technical background from within a brokerage
3. Comfortable explaining a specific risk and its mitigation directly to a CISO, not just discussing it conceptually
4. Some oversight of people or projects, this is not a role managing a hard P&L
5. Arabic language ability strongly preferred
6. Based either in the Middle East already, or with a strong desire to relocate to the Middle East from major markets
