AI Engineer - AI Lab (m/w/d)

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design and bild AI and GenAI soltions within or AI Lab. In this role, yo'll combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision to bild AI-powered soltions that will help transform or clients' bsiness models and enable their growth.

How yo will create an impact:

Design and develop AI soltionsfor bsiness-specific se cases.

Develop RAG and/or fine-tne LLMs and data pipelines for internal and external data sorces (e.g., pricing databases, market benchmarks, CRM exports).

Optimize performance, latency, and cost of AI/GenAI soltions.

Evalate, select, and integrate third-party libraries and open-sorce frameworks.
Set p databases and LLM frameworks.

Balance two modes of engineering excellence: pshing the bondaries of what's possible with innovative AI-driven atomation throgh rapid PoCs, and delivering the high-qality agentic soltions that or clients need

Be a strong and reliable partner - own projects end-to-end with a high on-time delivery rate, from early prototype to prodction release

Stay ahead of AI/GenAI developments and assess new models/tools for adoption.

Hit the grond rnning: within yor first 3 days, deliver a working prototype of an agentic soltion

Work closely with AI Lab team and Simon-Kcher consltants to translate cstomer and bsiness needs into well-designed AI soltions - agentic AI is core to what we bild, and yo'll be at the center of it

Be an active contribtor to or engineering cltre: share relevant articles, research, or learnings with the team reglarly and promote a mindset of continos improvement and personal accontability

Abot yo:

Yo have 4+ years in software engineering, with at least years focsed on AI and GenAI.

A standot niversity degree in a relevant field, with flency in bsiness English.

Proven experience in designing and bilding applications sing GenAI models, inclding open-sorce and commercial LLMs (code and general-prpose).

Yo have experience in deploying and integrating LLMs in bsiness workflows

Strong Python skills and experience with AI frameworks like Hgging Face Transformers, LangChain, and LangGraph.

Experience with vector databases, knowledge retrieval systems and Retrieval Agmented Generation.

Experience with LLM high performance inference and models monitoring.

Working experience with clod platforms, e.g. Azre and AWS, and CI/CD.

Familiarity with data privacy, model safety, and responsible AI practices.

Excellent commnication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse adiences.
