Overview
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, Data Analytics to drive data-driven decision-making and enhance business performance through advanced analytics, reporting, and data management practices. This role will play a key part in transforming raw data into valuable business insights, developing scalable reporting frameworks, and supporting the adoption of AI-powered solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in data engineering, analytics, and visualization with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technology teams. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize data assets by consolidating, cleansing, validating, and transforming data from diverse sources to ensure reliability and consistency.
- Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines, data models, and reporting datasets to support business intelligence and analytical initiatives.
- Lead data enhancement projects by integrating internal and external data sources to improve business visibility, opportunity identification, and predictive capabilities.
- Support the development and adoption of AI and Generative AI applications by preparing high-quality datasets and enabling data-driven automation and decision support.
- Create interactive dashboards, management reports, and performance scorecards that provide meaningful insights and support business planning.
- Design and implement reporting solutions using Power BI, ensuring scalability, usability, and strong data governance practices.
- Collaborate with business users, operational leaders, product teams, and technology partners to translate business challenges into analytical and reporting solutions.
- Identify trends, risks, and business opportunities through data analysis and present recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Communicate findings and project updates through clear presentations and data storytelling techniques for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, analytics methodologies, and automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, or related functions.
- Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PySpark, with practical experience working in Databricks environments.
- Advanced Python programming skills for data processing, analytics, automation, and workflow optimization.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data transformation.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or Generative AI initiatives is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, insurance, banking, or other highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and advanced Power BI optimization techniques.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
