Our client is a prominent institutional asset manager with a strong heritage in the Asia-Pacific region. The firm provides a broad range of investment solutions to institutional and intermediary clients, leveraging deep market expertise, disciplined investment processes, and a long-term approach to capital stewardship.
To support its business development and investor engagement activities in Hong Kong, the firm is looking for a high-caliber Assistant Vice President to join its Investment Promotion function.
Exciting new role for you
- Develop existing distribution channels and identify new opportunities for fund distribution and investor coverage in partnership with the Dept. Head.
- Support investor relations, capital raising, and business development activities across institutional investors, family offices, private banks, and other professional investors.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while identifying new investor opportunities and distribution channels.
- Prepare marketing materials, investment presentations, and client communications to support fundraising and investor engagement initiatives.
- Organize and participate in client meetings, roadshows, conferences, and other investor marketing events.
- Conduct market research and provide insights on investor trends, competitive developments, and business opportunities.
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.
Requirements
- 3-5 years solid sales and marketing experience in financial institutions, much preferably from PE and/or Asset Management industries.
- Knowledge in investor relationship establishment, PE Asset/mutual fund/UCITS fund/private
- fund business, financial product management.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English is required and proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be a significant advantage.
- Sales support and client services experience from PE/Asset Management industries
- will be a strong plus.
