We are seeking a candidate with at least 4 years of relevant Macro derivatives (Rates & FX) supporting the franchise Corporate Sales desk, preferably gained from a global investment bank and commercial bank’s macro trading franchise.

The role would focus on supporting Corporate Sales in their derivatives booking, client confirmation and post-trade life cycle events involving the Corporate client accounts. As this is a client-facing role residing in the front office, the conduct of the person is regulated and hence, will require to be registration with SFC for Types 1 & 2 activities conduct.

1. Ensure all Corporate Sales booking and ticketing are matched correctly by the relevant Trading Desk on trade date to facilitate the correct post trade events.
2. Ensure all Corporate accounts’ trade confirmation goes out to the clients by the required agreed timeline as stipulated in the specific bilateral client agreements.
3. Ensure all post trade life cycle events of the macro (Rates & FX) derivatives bilaterally facing the Corporate accounts are followed up to minimize risk events such as failed settlement, delayed collateral posting and incorrect client valuation reporting.
4. Primary face-off to Corporate accounts in resolving post trade confirmation, settlement and payment issues.
5. Ensure Corporate Client complaints are escalated and reported to FICC management and Compliance in a timely manner, while resolving with the necessary Corporate Sales RM and internal functions where applicable.
6. Identifying operational risks and contributing to process enhancement initiatives for the Corporate Sales desk with the aim at improving efficiency, scalability, and control effectiveness.

2. Must have minimum 4 years of front desk trade support experience in macro derivatives (Rates / FX). Those with 1-2 years of hedge fund operational experience or in a prime brokerage platform are highly favored.
3. Extensive knowledge in the trade life cycle of Rates & FX derivatives is crucial.
4. Ability to understand each part of the operational function in a typical investment bank is a must (mid-office, settlement, collateral management and transaction reporting).

6. Excellent command of / fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
